Basic Strategies for Blackjack

The dealer has to keep taking more cards until he reaches 16, at which time he can stop. You can stop taking cards at any time. If the dealer goes over 21, you win automatically.
There is usually extra money involved when you get a Jack and an Ace at the start as this is true Black Jack, especially when these cards are the black suits. This is not true for all approved online casinos. If the dealer also gets Blackjack, there is usually a draw which means no one wins or loses.
The objective in Blackjack is to get as close to 21 as possible without going over and beating the dealer. Do not waste your time with other players as you are not playing against them. Although you should look at their cards. Most Blackjack games use up to four decks, so it is impossible to count into the deck and determine the odds of you getting a face card or any other number card.
One strategy for playing online Blackjack is to stop at 13 and take a chance of the dealer going bust. This sometimes works. Another strategy is if you are dealt two tens or two aces, to split them and “double down.” This means you can get dealt two more cards. If you split up two tens and get two aces, you can end up winning double.
